City & Staff Events

  1. Irving Concert Series: CANTA Rhythm and Brass

    October 19, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:45 PM @ Whistlestop Plaza

    Irving’s annual concert series showcases live music performances by bands from across the state. The 2018 series brings a variety of tunes to the stage celebrating decades of music. Canta Rhythm and Brass has entertained audiences in the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1998 and has set themselves apart with their vast repertoire of music. Come hear them take on the 1970s with an exceptional Latin edge.

    Gourmet food trucks will be on-site at all shows.

    Concerts run from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Parking and admission are free. In the event of inclement weather, shows will be moved to an indoor location.

    Get an overview of the MinuteTraq agenda management program and its features, as well as training on the agenda process. Participants will gain an understanding of department responsibilities and the steps the City Secretary’s Office takes to complete legislation approved by council.
